You can filter your accounts view to a specific segment for bulk management, apply discounting rules to all accounts within a segment, or organize your list of retailers for selection on other areas of the portal. {% callout type="info" title="Segments replace Retailer Groups in California" %} With California migrating to the v2 application, retailer groups will be deprecated. All prior settings maintained in a retailer group will now live at the individual account level. For account grouping purposes, retailer groups will be converted to segments. {% /callout %} ## View all segments You can view all segments by navigating to the **Segments** tab under **Accounts**. Use the chevron icon to expand the Accounts menu. Click to view popover with a list of retailers. | Yes | | Created | Date segment was created. | Yes | | Updated | Date segment was last updated. | Yes | | Updated by | User who last updated segment. | Yes | ## Create a segment You can create **manual** or **dynamic** segments. - **Manual segments** require you to manually add or remove accounts from the segment, but provide the highest degree of flexibility. - **Dynamic segments** allow you to build segments that are automatically updated based on an account's properties, such as credit rating, balance due, or sales rep. {% tabs label="Segment type" %} {% tab label="Manual" %} 1. To create a manual segment, click the **New segment** button on the top-right hand corner of the page. 2. Populate your new segment with a name and description. 3. Select **Manual** under the **Segment type** options. 4. Click **Add retailers** to open a retailer selection modal, and add your desired retailers. {% /tab %} {% tab label="Dynamic" %} 1. To create a dynamic segment, click the **New segment** button on the top-right hand corner of the page. 2. Populate your new segment with a name and description. 3. Select **Dynamic** under the **Segment type** options. 4. Under **Conditions**, select your key and operator, and input your approved values. You can add additional criteria by clicking **Add variable**. You can preview a list of retailers that fit your eligibility criteria by cliking **Preview retailers**. {% callout type="info" title="All criteria must be met" %} Nabis only supports the AND operator for dynamic segments. Retailers must meet all criteria to be eligible for a dynamic segment. {% /callout %} {% /tab %} {% /tabs %} ## Edit a segment You can edit a segment by clicking the **More actions** icon, and clicking **Edit segment**; or by clicking the row itself. Dynamic segments are automatically maintained. If retailers become eligible for a dynamic segment, they are added automatically; if they are no longer eligible, they are removed automatically. ## Delete a segment You can delete a segment by clicking the **More actions** icon, and clicking **Delete segment**. Deleting a segment is not reversible.
