This guide uses fictional details to illustrate an example workflow. {% callout title="Before you begin" %} Have a recipient, delivery address, product list, and requested delivery date ready. Use fictional details while following this example. {% /callout %} ## Prepare your details Start with a small order so it is easy to check each detail. Here is the sample used throughout this guide. | Detail | Example | | --- | --- | | Recipient | Sample Market | | Delivery address | 123 Example Street, Example City | | Product | Sample product A | | Quantity | 12 units | | Requested delivery | October 15, 2026 | ## Create the order 1. **Prepare a draft.** Add the recipient, delivery address, and requested date to your order details. Keep a clear order name, such as “Sample Market — October order,” so you can recognize it later. 2. **Add products and quantities.** Include one line for each product. Check that the quantity uses the intended unit: 12 individual units and 12 cases are different requests. 3. **Review and submit.** Compare the draft with your original request. Confirm the recipient, address, date, and each product quantity before treating the example as submitted. ## Check your work A complete draft answers four questions: - Who should receive the order? - Where should it go? - Which products and quantities are included? - What delivery date has been requested? In this example, **Submitted** means the draft has been sent for review. It does not mean the request has been accepted or the delivery date has been confirmed. ## Follow the order Select a stage to see how the sample order progresses. {% orderdemo /%} Use the [order status reference](/reference/sample-reference/) to follow the example lifecycle and understand the difference between a request that is in progress and one that is complete.
