Create a segment#
You can create manual or dynamic segments.
- Manual segments require you to manually add or remove accounts from the segment, but provide the highest degree of flexibility.
- Dynamic segments allow you to build segments that are automatically updated based on an account's properties, such as credit rating, balance due, or sales rep.
- To create a manual segment, click the New segment button on the top-right hand corner of the page.
- Populate your new segment with a name and description.
- Select Manual under the Segment type options.
- Click Add retailers to open a retailer selection modal, and add your desired retailers.
- To create a dynamic segment, click the New segment button on the top-right hand corner of the page.
- Populate your new segment with a name and description.
- Select Dynamic under the Segment type options.
- Under Conditions, select your key and operator, and input your approved values. You can add additional criteria by clicking Add variable. You can preview a list of retailers that fit your eligibility criteria by cliking Preview retailers.
Edit a segment#
You can edit a segment by clicking the More actions icon, and clicking Edit segment; or by clicking the row itself.
Dynamic segments are automatically maintained. If retailers become eligible for a dynamic segment, they are added automatically; if they are no longer eligible, they are removed automatically.
Delete a segment#
You can delete a segment by clicking the More actions icon, and clicking Delete segment. Deleting a segment is not reversible.
