The Nabis platform adopts a roles and permissions model to help you manage access control for your organization. Users are assigned roles that determine what they can and cannot do within the Nabis portal. Each role has a set of permissions that define the actions associated users can perform. In addition to the default roles provided by Nabis, you can create custom roles to give your staff members more granular access tailored to your organization's needs.

Pre-defined roles#

Your organization may have predefined roles available that you can assign to your users. You cannot delete these roles.

Role nameDescription
Organization adminGrants users all permissions, including the ability to manage other users.
Analytics userGrants access to all analytics dashboards.

Custom roles#

Creating custom roles allows you to granularly select permissions for specific users. Consider creating custom roles if none of the pre-defined roles adequately fit the needs of your organization. As new features are released, you may need to revisit your role settings to ensure the assigned permissions are up to date.

Creating a custom role#

  1. To create a custom role, navigate to the Roles tab under Permissions.
  2. Press New Role.
  3. Enter a role name and description, and assign any existing users to the role.
  4. Select which permissions you would like this role to have.
